Flex Newbie

[Flashlighting]

Hi,
I was used to develop in AS3 with FlashDevelop and FlashCS4...
Because of all the unused panels I wanted to give a try to Flex SDK 4...and I love it...but it's so different...and I can get though basic problems.

I downloaded an interesting project (http://code.google.com/p/in-spirit/wiki/ASSURF) and I tried to compile it...but the result it's unexpected: I miss the font and I cannot embed it in the project, and the webcam it's really slow.

I cannot use the build/build.xml files to build the project...I tried in a lot of ways, I read about the ant...but nothing...

Any suggestion?

Before you go downloading and building a larger complex project, you should take a little time to create some simple ones on your own to better understand what is happening.

Sometimes you have crawl before you can walk... And flying is out of the question when you are new to Flex/FlashBuilder
