I just ordered a 12x18 print of the 4th one down. I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow on my lunch break.

Well I gave him the best one of the set right when we did it. Just got around to the rest. He should be pumped about the print.

Excellent work. If you print another, my only critique / suggestion is to take out the circular flare at the bottom left and it will be perfect. (if I didn't already say that in the other thread.

).

What camera did you use for the video?

I kind of like the flare. I'll have to edit it out and see how much it changes it.

I shot that with the 5D Mark II with the 24-105 sooc in vga mode.

The rest of the flare works nicely, it's just that well defined circle closest to the edge makes it looks like a water droplet caused the ink to smear a bit due to the oversaturation.

Here is an example - I copied the flare first and then filled it in with the surrounding area. I pasted the flare and set the transparency to 35% visible.

Very cool about the video - I always thought Canon's higher end stuff was strictly still photography.

Oh no. All their newest bodies have video. The 7D and 5DmarkII output AMAZING video right out of the camera. Haven't seen much from the newest rebel but I've heard it's on par with the 7D as far as performance just a different body and less bells and whistles.

Can't wait to be able to upgrade to a body with video.

And damn you Gen. Now every time I look at that print I hate that flare. If I print one for myself I'll definitely be getting rid of it. Good thing that copy is going to the owner

Ahh just saw that you did an edit. Looks good. I did a lot of other tweaks before the print too. Some reflection stuff in the chrome showed the other car we had behind me, some other stuff on the door like cleaning up the tree line, and I got rid of the inspection sticker and cleaned up the windshield. Pissed I didn't think of toning down that flare- it's an eye sore to me now. Otherwise it would have been poster worthy.
