Hi guys! I dropped programming for a while and now I am trying to pick it back up

Geez... things sure have changed since AS 1&2 days.

I need to figure out how to create a virtual timeline in as3. Multiple frames and code for each frame. How would I go about doing that?

Search returns nothing but timeline control.

Using FlashDevelop 3.3.1

... and as an afterthought, an efficient way to read .SVG files?
