Bug
Hi, found a bug.
I am getting this error:
"An imported Swf, imported Flv, dynamic text object, or button has a name that is not unique. This may cause problems when exporting to swf. Use the Timeline to find the name duplication and rename objects. The name may be present in the cut/copy clipboard"
However this is impossible. There is only one object.
It also crashes when I try to export the swf.
Originally I had many more objects - and Koolmoves kept crashing when I exported the swf - so I thought it must be because I was ignoring the above error message.
After 2 hours of trying to find the duplicated object - I could not - so I decided to start deleting objects by process of elimination to find the error.
I also deleted all actionscript.
I was left with only one object and still the error message, including the crash when trying to export the swf.
link to the the .fun file:

Please investigate
cheers

The other object with the same name is in the copy/paste buffer. I suggest clearing the
buffer (Edit > Clear Edit Buffer). That will most likely solve the crashing problem.
The error message is not related to the crashing problem.
Email me the entire project including all images, etc, zipped together. support at koolmoves dot com

hi, thanks for response.
I just tried clearing the edit buffer - still same problem (in fact the 'clear edit buffer' is greyed out - so nothing in buffer anyway)
will put together project and email now

out of interest, isnt the fun file I provided enough evidence that it is crashing?

I changed the .zip extension to .fun and tried to open in koolmoves. Koolmoves can't open the file.
-
can't you just unzip it? I just tested the link, downloaded and unzipped. worked fine..

Yes that works. I thought I tried that but I guess I didn't.
I see a single shape in several scenes. I played the movie and exported the movie and it doesn't crash (tested with Koolmoves release 8.1 and KoolMoves beta 8.2 in debug mode).
Are you using a very old version of KoolMoves?
