Which is better

Hi i love this forum its been alot of help so far. But i was wondering im makeing a site that needs a rollover i was wondering if i would look better to do a roll over in Flash or JavaScript!!!! The type of roll over i am refuring to is were you put the mouse over any button and the name of the button shows up in the same display. I would apreciate your opinion thanx.

Well then, do you want a flash site, with a lot of bells and whistles, or are you just concerned with a rollover? If you only care about the rollover, I would go with HTML and j-script.

Well im going for a more mixed look. I have made a flash ticker to go at the bottom of the page. This is for the annimated feture and i might add a flash logo. but I just got to thinking this is for a web portfolio and i should probly use the javascript rollover to show my skills. The cool thing is the Java Applet im adding in the shape of a crystal ball. When im finnished with this page i will post the adress. The name of the companie im working for is freeze networks. Basicly we are doing web design and Flash design and our newst feature is Web Hosting.

A good advantage of an html site over flash is that you have a lot more viewer capablities. Keep that in mind!
