I occasionally make it back here, usually to see how people are reacting to major world events. It's always kind of been another community of diverse people with different reactions and points of view.

I'm happy to say I do indeed work in the technology industry these days. I work as an interactive marketing strategist for an agency in Chicago; we design/develop law firm websites and other marketing technology products. I pretty much consult with clients on business goals, site requirements, user experience, IA, all that fun stuff.

It's funny to think I started out here at about 22 while a junior in college (I think). I've been in Chicago 10 years now, engaged and getting married soon - we've been together for over nine years now). Bought a house back in late 2010, generally enjoying a successful career so far and have been in the legal industry for about 9 years now. Fortunate to do a decent amount of traveling and photography in the past few years, much of which you can find here - www.flickr.com/mg33. I'm pretty active with my blog as well at www.randomtransmission.com. I'm a few days away from a big update to my mg33.net site as well, finally finishing off a large photo portfolio.

Anyhow, really cool to see a lot of old names in this thread!
