    Apple's Mountain lion: Gatekeeper and..

One of the new features of OSX Mountain lion is the Gatekeeper, with which one can restrict what to install. One option is to restrict anything except what comes from the Apple store. A second option is Apple store or from an "identified developer" and the third option is to allow to install everything.

I am wondering, if I am a certified AIR developer (certified code signing) do I count as an identified developer? If not Apple is continuing its policy to dictate to users what they have to install on their machines (iPhone and Flash). Already this looks like a dictatorship, although I understand they want to keep out problems. However, I don't think this is the way to do it. On the other hand I will have to store my "soul" in iCloud and have Apple have control over it.

Plenty of cloud storage solutions out there, even google. I'm pretty sure if you buy an apple developer license, you're official. Downside of the store is it's approval process is the same as iOS. So an update or patch has to pass approval and your users have to wait.
