ok, here's the really funny part!
Aimster (service that combines Napster-type music sharing with file sharing) is using the DCMA against the RIAA!
Aimster has started using an encryption method for all of their file transfers. This means that the RIAA can't filter the transfers, because the DCMA has outlawed any tampering with encryption methods.
The laws originally made to protect the RIAA are being used against it! But it gets better...
The encryption method that Aimster is using is PIG LATIN!!!! They are 'encrypting' the file names using pig latin....

Boy I would have like to have been a fly on the wall when the big cheese over there at RIAA found out they were using pig latin. I can hear it now... "They're using what to encrypt?"
