Happy St. Patrick's day everybody !
Just so that everyone knows, St. Patrick was NOT really Irish. He was from SCOTLAND, and a bunch of pirates kidnapped him and sold him to a church in Ireland. Film at 11:.00.
Now go and enjoy some green mashed potatoes

some questions!
Hi Swish. I am from Japan and I don't know well
about St.Patrick's Day.
What else do you do?
And you have St.Patrick's Day Holiday, too, right?
Is "St.Patrick's Day" not a holiday?
Why green mash potatoes?
Tell me please.
Thank you
Aya

Hi Aya ! Nice to meet you
St. Patrick's day is when people dye everything green (including food) and say they have an excuse for getting drunk. Basically that's all it is. I guess green is an irish color, but as noted above he wasn't really irish so go figure To bad they messed up the holiday because the man was a great man. He helped lots of people in his day.
