If I say it correctly, and if there is such a thing !

    My problem is:

When I want to throttle back the data transfer of my personal web server in order to test how my website's "working" on slow connections (28.8, 33.6, etc), I use WebSpeed Optimizer, right ? Right.

If I want to test how my shocked site will "play" on a machine slower than my PIII what do I do ? (apart from calling on the friends to which I sell my older machines...:-)

Is there out there something (software-like) that'll do the job ?

    Thanx !

I just went to your site on my Pentium II 350MHz with 192Megs of ram and my CPU Ussage jumed from 2% to 100% and stayed constant though out most of your site. Feel sorry for 200MHz guys

    Underclocking

Underclocking is a good idea and it seems it had escaped me... :-)

But at the same time it's such a fuss...
That's why I was wondering about a software solution to the prob.

As for the site, it's this freaking spinning logo that makes even my CPU usage monitor (pIII / 256 ram) go ...seriously alive !
But you see, the art dir. thinks it's deadly absolutely necessary...
