Not only is it legal but it is now mandatory for students to have 40 hours of community service (volunteering) in order to graduate from high school. hehe im only in grade 9, well going to ten and i finished mine in the first 2 weeks of summer, im ahead of the game.

I don't think that makes sense to me, i can't help out a bunch of old ladies at a nursing hope cuz im underaged (if i lived in the US). That really makes nooo sense to me. I can't work at my daddy's office either (if i lived in the us)?

since i am a high school student in america...here is the thing for community service...
you can start community service hours, aka student service lerning hours, in the summer of your 8th grade year...you must have 60 hours to graduate...it must be from a *non profitable* organization to count...

i was allowed to have a working permit 1 year ago...when i was 14 years old...but any age under 14, u can't work under child labor laws...

Well, it seems like this whole issues has come to a conclusion. I really don't care and will never know what [elvis]'s age. Since he still posts and has language of a immature young kid, I believe he is what he says and if he is lying which I will not say whether I suspect, perhaps there is some reason which we'll never know.

[elvis] I don't mean to insult you at all. In fact, I've visited your site and seen your works to develope quite an anmount of respect for you. On the otherhand, throughout your posts, your concern for others is not visible and your respect for fellow members is not evident. Its clear lately that you've labeled yourself a "flash elite" or whatever it is called. This egotistical attitude isn't necessary and I'm sure it offended some members including me. Adding to that, you've continued to single yourself out with your age as a primary weapon. If you are part of this community, why do you try to separate yourself from all of us. Do you have something to prove? I can't answer that question, but I hope in the future that I will see more vitality, politeness, and friendliness in your voice throughout these forums. I know that this increased concern for others and respect will shine in your works and continue to elevate you to the pinnacle of design.

As of now, you've separated yourself from everybody. Nobody is picking on you but I know you can see a certain amount of dislike towards you. Perhaps, its time to shove the [elvis] name down the drain and return as someone new.

So why should I be talking and saying these things? Because I was like that too. In fact, I've changed so many internet alias long time ago due to the fact that I got everybody to hate me due to my ego, poor attitude. I've now changed and have learned to respect others and cleanse my voice.

I have alot of respect for your design work elvis, I posted that at the begining. I still dont believe you are 11 years old, You have made to many mistakes in your comments during the argumment. You work at the Lab, was the "coup de grace"
