    HELP! I'm trying to create a Flash Presentation that plays on CD-Rom on both PC and Mac. I'm creating it on a Mac. How can I create the cd so it starts automatically on both PC and Mac? Do I need to include files other than the executable/projector? Right now it only works on my Mac. :^(
    thanks

    Monika,
    here´s an article:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/fl...ashautorun.htm

    You can also use the search engine here at flashkit to search for "autorun" or similar.

    make a projector (MAC and PC)

    If you use Toast for your cd writing, what you need to do is set up a temp partition in Toast (utilities menu) then when you click data it will ask you to select a start up file. Then include autorun file for your pc file

    [autorun]

    open=yourfile.exe

    open=yourfile
    then burn cd and that should work for ya!

    The current issue of MacUser in the UK has a tutorial on just that, and the pros and cons of Flash and Director presentations. It also has a look @ the new iBook so I thought it was worth getting, it may still be around.
