That's not the point, but what should people do? lie down and accept M$ as the only browser??

    I won't.

you know I compared the stats on my company's Web site and Netscape has had a very dramatic decline.. 6 months ago about 30% of our visitors used Netscape to view the site and now its only 12% .. and most of those user are on Linux boxes

Gearworks 12% of your users use Linux? That ought to be enough for you to write for NS or Mozilla.

Yes I told you guys that before that Netscape wasn't dead- they just turned over the developement to Mozilla.org.

It's actually quite hard to get accurate stats for Opera because by default it spoofs as IE. For what it's worth, the stats for the site I work for show Opera at 0.11% of traffic -- IE hogs about 85%, with NN just about managing 8%. The number of people using NN6 (Mozilla 5) comes in at about 0.5%.

    Lets stamp out all competition!

Just think. With only one explorer to design for.

    Bliss!

Why the hell would you use Opera anyway?
Unless you're one of those wierdo stubborn people who'd prefer to cut off their own nose than use top of the range monopoly quip!
