Hello someone else had a similar question I'll just copy and paste my response:

Hey. it might help if explain what your trying to do a bit more. But anyway I use two "Tracing" programs. To convert scanned drawings into vectors for traditional animation. One is Corel
Trace the other is Adobe Streamline. They both have their advantages depending on what you want to do. I like Steamline because I can batch files. That is set up as many bitmaps as I
want to trace and then let computer do the tracing and saving. Corel Trace ,though you can't batch, seems to do a better job on tracing photos. Although usually I do some adjustments in Photoshop. Samples can be found at http://www.megatoon.com pick a file that is small to download. Because tracing bitmaps will give larger file sizes than creating right in Flash. Anyway this becoming long winded. So if you this is what you are trying to do, reply again. And I will give you step by step intsructions an how I created them.

I am curious which program does the best job at tracing raster graphics?

anyone have the same image they ahve traced in these 3 programs and can post a site to show which program does the best job?
