I am having trouble with referencing variables in text fields. They seem to work fine until I place them under a mask layer, at which point they don't display anything. Standard text fields and image instances still display fine under the mask. I have tried just about everything including referencing the lvl above (e.g. ../:text ) but nothing seems to work. Is there something I am missing? Help!
