Hey Northypoo ... I think I've posted this somewhere before - but here goes ~ It's only half my office - the other half is perpetually messy ...

Look closely and you'll see four ... there's another one in the corner that's cut off (to the bottom right) another one upstairs and one more that sits in the other corner ...

LOL - not the kitchen thing again Okay - just to explain what happened with my very non-decorous cabinets ...

We had the office built after we had the house built ... Well - when I spoke with the guy who built my desk - he made the grave mistake of asking me how I wanted it ... so I drew it out for him - to the inch -- height, depth, width, over-sized keyboard trays, et al. Plus bookshelves on teh other wall - and I told him I wanted the wash to match the rest of the house - and he asked if I wanted my cabinet face to match ... I said, I didn't really care as long as my desk holds what I want it to -- Apparently, he didn't really care either ... so what we got was hand rubbed, milk washed oak (oak? Nope - I think it's ash - sorry) ... and that's the story of why my office looks like my kitchen (there's a picture of that too around some boards somewhere, too btw) Minus, of course, the coffee pot ...

    artist's rendition

    Here's mine.
Unfortunately, I don't have a photo, but here is an artist's rendition.
It is not quite accurate though, as the room is filled with much more modern technology.
My cat is slightly smaller, too.

Thanks Rugby I do actually have chairs in here (and stepstools to match teh desk ) - but everything photographed better without them - one really great (but horrible color) leather chair that is oh so comfy that I just ended up laying in most of the time, so I passed it on to my husband - and one looks like leather, feels like leather, but is more like pleather, that's comfy but not so much I end up snoozin' in it. maybe with that big black leather chair, I'll just call you 'stud' from now on

I'm a computer/network tech (that does the occasional print work) that charges way too much for my time Well, that and I'm older than most of ya'll, so I've had longer to save up

Oh, it has always done that. I am not sure why. It comes in handy at times, but nobody will sit next to me on the bus.
Come to think of it, it could be related to the visions and the voices in my head, but I'm not supposed to talk about that.
