I am converting an .avi video to .swf with the product 'Super' not sure that even matters as much as the codec/movie frame size (display dimension) and bit rate (kbps) video/audio ratio.

The standard settings for the output .swf file are lower quality than the original .avi file played in my Windows Media Player. The challenge is to increase the quality during the conversion process by adjusting the kbps on audio and video as a ratio. I'm sure that anyone who has had to do custom conversions has had to adjust these settings to improve video quality to meet the same standards as the original video. I am new to this process and the default settings just aren't cutting it.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

Thanks!
