    This bandwidth problem is going to continue to plague the entire Internet world until the internet gets desectralized and everyones computer works together in the network!

    A tips jar, or a paypal button or whatever... it can just sit there and you can use it if you want.. I don't really see what problems could arise.. it seems to work fine at were-here.

    oh goodness no.

    donation is a better idea.

    keep the net free.

    bandwidth prices are going down all the time.

    i believe it won't be long before bandwidth is much less of an issue, and content becomes the focus again (as it should)

    Then you wouldn't get a fraction of the replies, and the help, you do now.

    Would make more sense to pay for posting a thread, replies being free.

    Either way though, when you start forcing people to pay you'll lose a lot of them.

    Hey, if we all click the banner ads every now and then, Flashkit can stay doing fine...

    PC users: click, wait 4 seconds, then alt-F4
    Mac users: click, wait 4 seconds, then apple-w

    instant money!!

    Though maybe "they" might get suspicious when ads suddenly start getting 100,000 hits a day...you don't want to get "they" suspicious, oh no.

    Tip jar is a nice idea but would never work. I like the membership idea....

    I'd gladly pay 50 bucks to use this site if worse came to worse.
