Almost. But he still wins with this sage like advice "Firwst u gotta know what game you're playing."
I hate it when I sit down to play a game of Monopoly and later realize that I have just lost $400 playing pai gow poker.

****. I refuse to let him win.
How about... Playing poker is best when you use cards. Otherwise, it's less fun.

if someone gets a full house with aces and jokers, it means they won one night with your wife to do whatever they want.

GShock's overcharging. Anyway, price discussions in the Boardroom pls (does it include poker?)
Okay, there are players who fold'em at almost every hand. What's up with that? <-- couldn't possibly be Gerbick, who plays EVERY hand. Haha..

I don't gamble like that. Even stopped dating crazy women. That was gamble enough.

(taken from that link)....that you make money when your opponents make mistakes, and they make money when you make mistakes. A "mistake" is here defined as playing a hand differently from how you would have played it if you knew what your opponent has. And small pocket pairs are very easy to make mistakes with...
and
...The mistake you make preflop by folding a non-premium hand is small in comparison to the postflop mistakes you are liable to make with the same hand...
These I like. Mucho gracias!

Another thing everyone should know is the rule of 4 and 2.
This little bit of knowledge will help you figure out the odds of making your hand on the turn and the river. Once you know your odds, you can determine if it's worth the price to see if you can make the hand.
It's really easy to figure out and comes in very handy.

Aha thanks, and from that I guess I go by rule of 2 and 1 (I made it up~), it's much tighter. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

You never want to play that tight. Just use the rule of 4 and 2 as a guideline to help you realize the strength of your hand after the flop. That's where a lot of people get crazy and put in all their chips when they only have a 4% chance of getting their cards.
